Chloe Robertson was born and raised in Ōtepoti Dunedin, where she found her love for hip-hop dance and the performing arts. She competed in NZCAF and Hip Hop Unite competitions, where she earnt multiple placings over her 7 years of competing in both crews and duos. Chloe has also taught dance at numerous studios, training at her home studio, RASA School of Dance, and more recently teaching at Impact Dance Studios, Flow Dance Academy and Theatre Dance Academy. Chloe has completed her NZAMD and Urban Ignition exam syllabus in Hip Hop, receiving high honours marks, qualifying her to participate in a scholarship selection multiple years in a row, and receiving her ANZAMD Solo Seal Diploma. Though only for a short time, Chloe has also trained in contemporary dance. Now based in Ōtautahi, Chloe recently finished her Bachelor of Performing Arts with a Specialization in Musical Theatre from the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Arts, where she also trained in ballet, jazz, tap and musical theatre dance. Chloe loves to act as well as dance, so she would absolutely describe herself as a ‘theatre kid’. Chloe loves anything creative, as well as educating, so she feels like dance teaching offers her a perfect balance of the two.
