Lucy: Yoga Instructor & Naturopath
Lucy was drawn to Yoga as a teenager and has been an avid practitioner ever since. From basic “gym yoga” to a regimented hot Bikram yoga obsession, and back to more gentle, restorative yoga after a serious car accident, Lucy has a well-rounded understanding of different styles of yoga, and the physical, mental and emotional benefits of the practice.
“I knew from the very beginning I was tapping into something magical. Yoga changes your mind, your body, it changes your life.”
In 2017, while working through her injuries, Lucy completed her 200hrs intensive study in Ashtanga, Yin, Asana, Pranayama, Meditation Philosophy, Anatomy and Teaching. Lucy places a strong emphasis in balancing out the Yang (active/strong) and Yin (relaxed/soft) aspects of Yoga practice and how this translates into everyday life.
“As a Naturopath, I see how deeply stress impacts our health and wellbeing, mindful movement practices provide the perfect antidote, inducing feelings of relaxation, contentment and happiness.”
Lucy aims to provide a safe, non-judgemental and encouraging environment for personal development, both physically and mentally.
“I can honestly say that Yoga saved my life- and I’m excited to be in a position to share its goodness with people of all walks of life.”
